Each team's 3 members are generally filled out with one comedian and one star each from a classic TV science-fiction series: eg Walter Koenig and Claudia Christian (Babylon 5), Sophie Aldred and Sylvester McCoy (Dr Who), or Armin Shimerman and Max Grodenchik (Deep Space 9).

The story of Three Cadets and sexually transmitted diseases.

A group of starry-eyed applicants are auditioned to undergo intensive training in Russia before being flown 100 kilometers up into near space. Here, they will spend up to five days orbiting the Earth, conducting experiments and quite literally watching the world go by - or will they? Unbeknown to them, they won't be in space at all... They won't even be in Russia. They'll actually be in a disused military base at a secret location somewhere in the UK, possibly the most audacious, complicated and ambitious practical joke in television history.

The history of the series develops around three Suvorov graduates - Ilya Sukhomlin, Stepan Perepechko and Alexei Syrnikov, who entered the Moscow Higher Military Command School at the end of the summer, where each of them is awarded the rank of junior sergeant. Along with the Suvorovites, graduates of ordinary schools, without a military education, called "schoolchildren" - Dmitry Krasilnikov, Gennady Varnava and Nikolai Kovnadsky, enter the school. The third side is made up of the so-called "army men" - Evgeny Bragin, Sergey Gonchar and Stepan Prokhorov - who have already served as conscripts in the army and have more practice than theory. Later, Maxim Makarov, transferred from St. Petersburg for a fight with a colleague, joins the main characters. Aleksey Syrnikov, meanwhile, is being transferred to the Ryazan Airborne School, which he dreamed about while still being a Suvorovite.

On lonely satellites, lowly Space Cadets toil for the Laburniam Federation. Their antics are overseen and commented on by a succession of strange observers. Space Cadets is a re-imagining of a visually gorgeous French animation series called Youri the Spaceman. It is in the hilarious tradition of shows like Mystery Science Theater 3000.

1744. Russian Empire. Being childless, but at the same time wanting to finally consolidate on the Russian throne of his - "Peter's" line of the Romanov dynasty, Empress Elizabeth Petrovna decides to marry his nephew Karl Peter Ulrich, brought from Prussia, called in Russia "Peter Fyodorovich" to some noble, but preferably not very rich and not very willful European "princess". Elizabeth is intrigued by the brave young guardsman and his intercession for Yaguzhinskaya, and she gives Belov "an assignment of national importance" - to secretly bring his important guests to Russia from Prussia. The ubiquitous vice-chancellor Bestuzhev learns about it. Three naval cadets accidentally get possession of a secret diary that was stolen from Bestuzhev, a vice-chancellor of Russia. If this diary ever gets abroad, the consequences for the country would be grave. The cadets are trying to return the papers to their owner, but there are others who want to get the papers...

There is a seven-year war, Russian soldiers are forced to fight for the interests of France and Austria against Prussia. The midshipmen continue to selflessly serve the Motherland. One is on an expedition, the other is at court, and the third is sent to Venice to hand over a jewelry box. In fact, there is a message in the box, on which the future fate of Europe and Russia depends!
